According to Spanish media reports, Miravia, an e-commerce platform under Alibaba Group, will have its own logistics warehouse in Spain to promote its development. The platform will be operated by 4PX (acquired by Cainiao, a logistics subsidiary of Alibaba) and located in Guadalajara, Spain, where there are already many logistics and e-commerce companies.
It is reported that Miravia is committed to shortening the delivery time as much as possible, which is one of the main driving forces for online shopping consumers to buy. Since Miravia landed in Spain in 2022, the company is preparing for its first Christmas event. Today, the platform has nearly 10 million monthly visits.
The warehouse is located in Henares corridor, surrounded by Madrid-Barcelona high-speed railway. Covering an area of 22,400 square meters, it can store as many as 12,000 pallets and handle as many as 15,000 orders every day, with a total of 5.5 million orders per year.
The warehouse also has 37 loading docks, two light vehicle ramps and a free height of 11 meters, and is equipped with a fire detection and fire extinguishing system.
It is reported that Alibaba has high expectations for Miravia. Alibaba accelerates its development in Spain through Miravia. The goal is that by the end of this fiscal year, Miaravia will have 10,000 operators. It is estimated that by 2026, the platform will become one of the five largest e-commerce markets in Spain.
